1. Grant of Rights

01

By submitting your musical recordings, artwork, and metadata (collectively, the 'Content') to CRY DIGITAL Media, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to distribute, reproduce, publicly perform, and display your Content across digital service providers (DSPs) and streaming platforms. This grant of rights allows us to act as your digital distributor but does not transfer ownership of your copyrights to CRY DIGITAL Media

2. Content Ownership

02

You retain 100% ownership of your master recordings and underlying musical compositions. CRY DIGITAL Media claims no ownership rights over your intellectual property. You represent and warrant that you own or control all necessary rights to the Content you submit, including any samples, beats, or featured performances, and that your Content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

3. Revenue Sharing and Royalties

03

CRY DIGITAL Media will collect royalties generated from the exploitation of your Content on DSPs. We will remit these earnings to your account balance, subject to the commission rate specified in your chosen pricing plan (e.g., 15% for basic accounts, 0% for Pro accounts). Payments are calculated based on the accounting reports provided by the DSPs, which typically operate on a 60-90 day delay. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your earnings.

4. Distribution Terms

04

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver your Content to the DSPs you select. However, we cannot guarantee that any specific DSP will accept your Content, nor can we guarantee specific placement, playlisting, or streaming numbers. DSPs reserve the right to reject or remove Content at their sole discretion based on their internal guidelines and quality standards.

5. Content Guidelines and Takedowns

05

You agree not to submit Content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the terms of service of our DSP partners (e.g., artificial streaming manipulation, copyright infringement). If we receive a valid copyright infringement notice (such as a DMCA claim) or detect fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to immediately remove your Content, freeze your account, and withhold associated royalties pending investigation.

6. Term and Termination

06

This Agreement commences upon your acceptance and continues until terminated by either party. You may terminate this Agreement at any time by requesting the takedown of your Content through your dashboard. CRY DIGITAL Media may terminate the Agreement and remove your Content if you breach any of these terms. Upon termination, we will instruct DSPs to remove your Content, though residual copies may remain in their systems for a brief period.

7. Indemnification

07

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CRY DIGITAL Media, its affiliates, and its DSP partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of this Agreement, your infringement of any third-party rights, or any claim that your Content violates applicable laws.

8. Dispute Resolution

08

Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be subject to binding arbitration in the jurisdiction where CRY DIGITAL Media is legally established. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit against CRY DIGITAL Media

9. Agreement Updates

09

We may update this Artist Agreement periodically to reflect changes in industry standards, DSP requirements, or our business practices. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a dashboard notification. Continued use of our distribution services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.

AGREEMENT WORKFLOW

Review service scope, rights context and policy acknowledgement before activation

The Artist Agreement page should present the actual agreement text clearly and separately from the visual workflow. The workflow illustrates review, service scope, rights information, acknowledgement and activation without inventing clauses or simulating a legal signature.

01

Agreement record

Identify the relevant agreement and current version without embedding fake dates or contract IDs.

02

Service scope

Show which approved services are covered by the agreement relationship.

03

Rights information

Connect ownership, territory and licensing context where required.

04

Policy links

Keep related Terms, Privacy, Royalty Policy and guidelines accessible.

05

Acknowledgement

Record the applicable acknowledgement through the real form or account workflow, not a visual-only animation.

06

Activation

Enable approved services only after the required agreement and admin steps are complete.

Artwork is not the contract

The visual is explanatory. The actual written agreement and any required acknowledgement are the authoritative elements.

  • Real agreement text
  • No fake signatures
  • No invented clauses
  • Version awareness

Agreement and approval work together

A completed agreement does not necessarily replace account review or other eligibility checks.

  • Account approval
  • Service scope
  • Rights information
  • Activation state
Does the animated agreement count as a signature?

No. Animation is presentation only. Any legally required acceptance must happen through the actual agreement workflow.

Can the visual add legal clauses?

No. Only the real, approved agreement text should define obligations.

When are services activated?

Activation occurs after the applicable agreement, account review and service approval steps are complete.

Where are related policies?

Use the linked Terms, Privacy, Royalty Policy and Community Guidelines pages.
